Notes:

1 Astr 7B can be taken concurrently with Phys 7B and could be started freshman year.

2 If the major is selected late, Astr 149 or 169 can be taken in junior year in place of Astr 7A and B. We recommend not taking the physics lab and astronomy lab courses in the same semester.

3 Astro 160A or 160B may be substituted for one of Astr 149 or 169.

4 This curriculum follows that proposed by Physical Sciences with insertion of current
Astronomy courses at appropriate level.
