Computing @ Berkeley Astronomy

The Berkeley Astronomy Department computing environment is heterogeneous network of Suns, Macs, and Linux based PCs (the "Astro Net") all sharing resources via a variety of protocols. Documentation for the Astro Net is now web based and is no longer maintained at the man page level. For a systems status update, as well as a list of important dates (such as the next patch day), go to the updates page.
