Amber Bauermeister
I am a 6th year graduate student in the Department of Astronomy at UC
Berkeley. My research focuses on molecular and atomic gas in galaxies and the
role that these play in star-formation over the past several billion
years. With collaborators at several institutions, I am leading an
observational project at the Combined Array for Research in Millimeter-wave
Astronomy (CARMA) to study the evolution of
molecular gas in star-forming galaxies over the past several billion
years. Appropriately, this is called the Evolution of Molecular Gas in Normal
Galaxies (EGNoG) Survey - you can find more information here.
