I am a Postdoc at UC Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab.

My main scientific interests are supernovae (SNe), gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), and other transient phenomena. I am also keen on modern data analysis tools & methods, suitable for current and future large scale surveys.

I graduated from the Tel-Aviv University, under the supervision of Prof. D. Maoz.

I work here with the teams of Professors J. Bloom, A. Filippenko, and Peter Nugent .

On a more personal level, I am married to Hila, and father of Niv and Ben. My personal interests include, in no particular order, technology, literature of almost every sort, cinema, backgammon, and I’ll stop here.
