7. Tell us (in 2 or 3 sentences) a little about what you'll be working on at Berkeley.
I'm
part of the of the Palomar Transient Factory, a wide-field (8 sq deg.),
high cadence (time scales of minutes to days) survey of the optical sky
to search for known (SNe, novae, AGN, etc.) and unknown transient
phenomena. My thesis work was in the GRB field, so I will
also likely continue studies of Swift and (soon) Fermi events here.
