about me

I'm currently a third-year graduate student in the Astronomy Department at UC Berkeley. I graduated from Princeton University in 2011 with a B.A. in Astrophysical Sciences and a certificate in the Applications of Computing.

I grew up in Voorhees, New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I've played baseball competitively since the age of six and consider myself an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Having lived in NJ for most of my life, I'm quickly growing to love California and the Bay Area.

I also write for Astrobites, the astro-ph reader's digest. Check it out for some quick summaries of cutting-edge astronomy research.
