Cryogenic Dark Matter Search
Using state-of-the-art cryogenic germanium and silicon detectors, the CDMSII collaboration is searching for weakly-interacting massive particles, or WIMPS, whose discovery could resolve the dark matter problem, revolutionizing particle physics and cosmology.
