We have produced turbulent molecular cloud cores
that show excellent agreement with observations as
initial conditions for our collapse
calculations. The image below shows a Mach 1 cloud
core, and a simulated observation of the core in
ammonia with 40 arcsecond resolution, assuming the
core to be located in Taurus (0.14 kpc away).
Binary Formation
A simulation of a molecular cloud core with a
turbulent mach number of 3 shows the formation of a
binary star.
High Mass Star Formation
Our preliminary results on high mass star formation
show an accretion disk formed after about one
central free-fall time in a 100 solar mass core.
