I am a first year graduate student and an NSF Research Fellow in the Berkeley Astronomy department. I am interested in galaxy and evolution, and more specifically, how galaxies stop forming stars. Previously, I received my B.S. degrees in both Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Minnesota. During my time as an undergraduate, I studied star formation in nearby galaxy mergers with Dr. Matthew Ashby and as part of my senior thesis, I studied star formation in massive galaxies with Profs. Claudia Scarlata and Gabe Brammer. When I'm not thinking about space, you can find me eating *all* the Thai food, hiking and camping, or exploring the bay area!
