Research Interests
I work with resolved stellar populations in the Local Volume, using the archaeological record they provide to gain insight into galaxy evolution, star formation, stellar physics and astrophysical processes of the early Universe. Most of my work revolves around the derivation of precise stellar ages. Major topics of interest:
- Milky Way structure and formation
- Globular clusters as tracers of star formation and galactic mass assembly
- Evolution of low-mass stars
- Dwarf galaxy physics
- Near-field cosmology
