Gamma-ray burst and GRB-related supernovae. I'm also teaching astronomy at the Berkeley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Interests:
science fiction (Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly etc. as well
as sci-fi books), figure skating, cooking, violin and taking funny
