Biography
Dan Weisz received his undergraduate degrees in physics and astronomy at UC Berkeley in 2004 and his PhD in astronomy and astrophysics from the University of Minnesota in 2010. Following his PhD, Dan was a postdoctoral researcher for the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury (PHAT) program at the University of Washington, and then a Hubble Fellow at UC Santa Cruz and the University of Washington. Dan will join the faculty of the Berkeley Astronomy Department in July 2016.
