Ellie Abrahams

Biography

Hi! I am an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a Two Sigma Fellow in the Astronomy and Statistics Departments at Berkeley. I build novel machine learning architectures to study the time-domain properties of ice-ocean environments. Before coming to Berkeley, I was a Helen Fellow in Computational Science at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. I am a proud alumna of the City College of New York, where I was the valedictorian of the Class of 2017. I am also an avid hiker and kayaker and when I’m not studying the stars, I love to be outdoors.
