Current Graduate Students

Sal Fu

I am a first-year astronomy graduate student and an NSF fellow. Before coming to Berkeley, I earned my B.S. in Physics at Pomona College, and completed multiple observational research projects in near-field cosmology with Dr. Josh Simon at the Carnegie Observatories. I continue to maintain my research interests in near-field cosmology and adjacent topics, including but not limited to: chemical enrichment, galactic dynamics, resolved stellar populations, and stellar evolution.
