Biography
I am a 6th year graduate student and Steven Nelson Fellow working on spectroscopy and polarimetry of core collapse supernovae with Alex Filippenko, with a particular emphasis on those exhibiting circumstellar interaction. One of the primary goals of my research is to map the geometry of supernova explosions, exploring the degree of asymmetry in the ejecta. My interests extend to multimessenger astronomy, specifically gravitational wave cosmology and optical follow-up of compact objects. I received my B.S. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara, where I worked with Andy Howell on the optical follow-up of gravitational wave candidates at the Las Cumbres Observatory.
