I was born and raised under the dark skies of Butte Montana. My interest in Astronomy began when I was shown Saturn through a telescope by Lloyd Magnuson, my 8th grade science teacher. After meandering through interest in different sciences, I landed at the Physics and Astronomy Department at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California.
